The World Trade Center Atlanta is seeking nominations for the 2009 Governor's International Awards, an annual gala and awards ceremony entering its fourth year.
The event will be held in partnership with the Atlanta Business Chronicle's Atlanta World Showcase on Sept. 17 at the Cobb Galleria Center.
The program will honor companies, individuals and educational institutions that have aided Georgia's development as an international business center.
Awards will be granted in seven categories: international deal of the year in large, medium and small company classifications; importer of the year, exporter of the year, individual of the year, international education program, new company of the year and lifetime achievement.
Anyone can make nominations, and self nominations are welcomed. Company nominees must be Georgia-based or foreign corporations qualified to do business in the state.
Nominations are due by Aug. 18. For nomination and registration information, click here.
