This year’s festival, Malaysia Fest: Adventure at Zoo Atlanta, highlights the exciting opportunity of being hosted at Zoo Atlanta, and will include opportunities to view unique Southeast Asian wildlife exhibited at the Zoo. This year’s festival is also a ‘green’ / environment-friendly event, featuring wildlife conservation efforts, recycling and low-carbon initiatives by Zoo Atlanta and MAG members.
The festival will be comprised of two main portions:
Day Time Zoo Adventure (10 am - 5 pm): featuring Southeast Asian wildlife exhibits, instructorled children's painting activities and exhibition by Sabah Kinder Art, interactive cultural demonstrations, conservation tips and activities, food, crafts and information vendors, and official opening ceremonies at 3 pm
Panda Veranda Evening Festivities (5:30 pm - 8:30 pm): buffet dinner featuring Malaysian inspired cuisine prepared by leading ethnic restaurants in Atlanta, a recreation of Malaysia's famous Night Market "pasar malam", and exclusive panda viewing and talk by Zoo Atlanta staff
