Victor Goldberg, a sensational Israelipianist, will make his LSO debut with the Brahms Piano Concerto No. 1. Called "a piano prodigy with explosive intensity-a major talent" by the Jerusalem Post, Mr. Goldberg is making his Carnegie Concert Halldebut the week before in a recital program in New York City. The Brahms Concerto, one of the most difficult works ever written, will be interpreted by an artist who holds degrees from Tel Aviv University, The Juilliard School, and the Peabody Conservatory. Victor Goldberg has performed all over the world including Lincoln Center, St. John the Divine, Bargemusic, the Aspen Festival, Washington Performing Arts Society, the Banff Centre in Canada, Kiev, and, as well, has won the 2008 Pro Musicis International Award, the Vladimir Horowitz International Piano Competition, and the Arianne Katcz Piano Competition.
