Our very special guest will be Opher Aviran, the newly arrived Israeli Consul General. Consul General Aviran most recently served the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in Jerusalem as Head of Bureau for Personnel Training and Development and previously served as Senior Foreign Policy Advisor to the IDF and Director of the MFA's Department of Jordanian, Syrian and Lebanese Affairs.   He has served overseas in the Israel Embassies of Australia, the Netherlands and Burma.  We are excited to hear his vision for the Israeli Consulate here.
